Kumi Obata is a Japanese artist who makes some of the loveliest etchings I have ever seen.  I could look at her work for hours.  Her website is

Nevan Lahart at the Temple Bar Gallery, great show but my little camera wasn't up to the large scale paintings so just three images here.  This weekend I'm back to Dublin for the Dublin Zine Fair and I'm very excited!!

Summer Exhibitions II

Here are some photos from the Crawford College of Art (CIT) Degree Show which I thought was really excellent:-

The last 3 photos are from a cardboard house which was slightly creepy, like an underground air raid shelter.  It was so realistic that I actually did feel as if I was trespassing.
